Nick DeVita is a New York based actor, director, producer, and retail marketer. Originally from the Boston area, Nick moved to New York for college where he enrolled at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. After college, Nick worked with the Williamstown Theater Festival, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and The Hudson Warehouse.

With the Hudson Warehouse, Nick appeared in over ten shows in the past few years as well as numerous performances with the company’s Shakespeare in the Bar series and Writer’s A-Go-Go series. Most recently, Nick directed a reading of Eugene Ionesco’s The Bald Soprano for their Shakespeare in the Bar series. While at the Hudson Warehouse Nick has sat on their Board of Directors, Artistic Board, as well as being an Artist in Residence for the company.

Nick also worked as the internal and external face of Best Buy. Nick has appeared in seven national commercials with the company including Best Buy’s partnership with Sony in the Playstation 3: It Only Does Everything campaign where he is a recurring character along with Playstation pitchman Kevin Butler.

Internally, Best Buy used Nick to cover major national media events, in store and web industrials, as well as other public events such as ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange (twice!)

After working in the performing arts, Nick aimed these skills towards the world of music. In 2012, Nick joined SONOS in their Retail Marketing department. At SONOS Nick works on major retail accounts like Best Buy and Target as well as Marketing and PR events in New York City.
